This weekend George Nick talked about his process to a rapt audience. I love to hear what motivates other painters. He said that he's been painting for 72 years. He drives around in a red truck and looks for his next painting which he completes in thick strokes of oil paint from his rolling studio. I liked his work very much. I forgot my camera and Caz Boyd sent me some shots that she took at the event. This one gives a good view of the artist surrounded by his paintings and some of the people who attended the talk.
