As you can see from the photograph, my poor little teapot deflated in the kiln. Whether it was due to the temperature in the kiln, a problem with the batch of clay or an architectural issue is unknown and frankly irrelevant. The teapot is now toast. The teapot was joined in kiln failure by a host of small bowls that suffered from clay bubbling anomalies and generally disappointing and unexpectedly darkened glaze issues.
